FOSS Responders collect the bare minimum of personal data necessary, and we do not sell or mine your data or share it for any reason - except to safely provide information and resources to you.

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by fossresponders.com (“FOSS Responders” or “we”). This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use our websites and online services (collectively, the “Services”) or when you otherwise interact with us.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you fill out a form, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, name of your organization and any other information you choose to provide.

  • Log Information: We collect log information about your use of the Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.

How We Use Personal Data

  • We show your first and last name in Google Forms when you log in and when other users of your organization interact with your account, such as when viewing organization users.
  • We use your email address to send notification emails from the *@fossresponders.com domain, including updates on status.
  • We use your organization name so that we may verify whom we are interacting with.

Google uses this information to understand how you use fossresponders.com, and compiles reports on this activity to help us improve fossresponders.com for our users. Compliance

GDPR

FOSS Responders is GDPR compliant. We are not in the business of selling data to any 3rd party. Only the admins of FOSS Responders (core contributors) get access to your email address. We don’t store credit card information on our servers. We don’t store any passwords. Since our entire code base is open source, anyone can easily audit it.
